4.2. Learning tasks
This is a 6 ECTS course organized as follows:
- Lectures.
- Practice sessions.

- Assessment tasks.
4.3. Syllabus
This course will address the following topics:
- Topic 1. The social context of literary translation.
- Topic 2. Translational dualities and specific issues in the translation of literary texts.
- Topic 3. Translation techniques in literary translation.
- Topic 4. Text and cultural context: domestication and foreignization.
- Topic 5. Translational operations and problems.
- Topic 6. Translating tasks: translation, revision and adaptation.
- Topic 7. Techniques in audiovisual adaptations of literary texts.
